Story Summary:
When Legolas meets Aragorn's most unique and
desirable former lover, can he tame her wild heart or will he destroy
her spirit by a simple miscalculation of judgement?
Detailed sex but not too much smut. Sweet smut?
Tolkien purists: Forewarning - Deviated so far from the books it isn't
funny! And LACE? Never heard of it before I wrote this story.
Obviously, neither had Vanelossë or Legolas!
This story
was written a long time ago and posted before I discovered betas so

Chapter 6
Secrets Revealed and Hearts Broken
Then next morning he woke up and she was completely wrapped around him.
He did not want to wake her so he just lay there for a while enjoying
her closeness. Eventually, he moved and she woke up. Smiling, she
leaned up to kiss him. Pulling him to her, she intensified the kiss and
he kissed her back. After a few minutes, he grabbed her in a tight
embrace and squeezed her. Then he slid out of bed.
“You are way too enticing, Vanelossë. It is hard to control my urges.”
“You know, you do not have to control them.” She smiled at him.
“Yes, I do. I told you I wanted to take this slow. I just want to enjoy
being with you now.” He said and kissed her tenderly. He put on his
shirt and grabbed his stuff. “I need to go change. I told Aragorn I
would meet him in a little while so I better be there. When can I see
you again?”
“This afternoon by the waterfalls.” She smiled.
They continued to see each other everyday. She loved the way he made
her feel. She felt more alive with him than she had ever felt before.
When he looked at her, he made her feel like she was the only one in
the world. His kisses made her mad with desire but at the same time
made her feel safe and content. When he smiled, it made her heart ache
with joy at seeing just a glimpse of his happiness. She struggled to
control her frustration of him taking this so slow but as long as she
could spend time with him, she was willing to wait.
They only spent the first night together until weeks later, when he had
stayed the night because neither one wanted to be without the other. In
the morning, he kissed her as he left the bed. As he prepared to leave,
He told her he would be with Aragorn all day and asked when he could
see her again.
“I was invited to dinner by Arwen so I will see you at dinner. Maybe we can spend some time together afterwards.” She suggested.
“Just do not drink too much wine this time.” He leaned over and kissed her again and then he left.
Smiling she snuggled back into bed. She had finally met the perfect
man. He was beautiful to look at and his kisses made her head spin.
Feeling suddenly lonely without him, she snuggled against the pillow
that still smelled like him. Once again, she fell asleep. When she woke
up, she spent most of the day around the house.
Getting ready for dinner early, she wore a very beautiful gown that was
one of her less bold and revealing ones. Lord Elrond would be pleased
at least. She loved this gown because the light blue-green color with
the white overlay reminded her of the water plus the way the slight
train followed her steps like a shadow. It had pearls sewn on in
patterns on the bodice. Underneath she wore a thin slip gown and
beneath she wore lacy undergarments. Just in case, she thought with a
smile.
She decided to go ahead and see Arwen before dinner. Luckily she was
there. The girls talked for a while and Arwen was amazed by the change
in her friend’s behavior. She seemed happy but very subdued for her.
Deciding it would eventually be revealed to her, she did not ask
assuming Vanelossë would deny anything having changed. As the girls
walked downstairs, she noticed that Vanelossë seemed excited about
going to dinner. Slowly Arwen caught onto the fact that it was Legolas
she was excited to see.
Legolas was on the porch talking to the twins and Aragorn. Finally
Elladan said to Legolas with a smile “I could not help but see you
leaving Vanelossë’s house this morning so I guess Aragorn won the bet
after all. Have you already given him the bow that he so desired?”
Before Legolas or Aragorn could respond, Elrohir gasped because
Vanelossë and his sister had walked onto the porch and had heard that
last comment. They all turned to look at them with guilt written on
their faces.
“Is that what this was about? It was just a bet? So you whored me out
for a bow, Aragorn? And Legolas what did you win? I hope it was worth
it.” Running back through the house crying, she left as fast as she
could.
Arwen was just staring at them.
“What is this about? You made a bet on her? What was the bet, to see if
Legolas could get into her bed? And Aragorn you were involved in this?
I cannot believe you four. She will never forgive any of you. And I do
not blame her at all.” Arwen said, angrier than anyone had seen her.
“Arwen, it started out as a bet but Legolas and I called it off after
the first night he met her. We had forgotten to tell Elladan and
Elrohir that. I know it was wrong to bet on her but it was not what you
think.” Aragorn started to explain.
“Look, we do not have time for this right now. Someone needs to go find
her. She is very upset.” Legolas said getting ready to leave.
“As well she should be. I am sure you are the last person she wants to
see right now.” Arwen exclaimed. “I will go find her and you all need
to figure out a way to make this right.” Arwen left quickly.
“She is right, you know. I cannot believe we did this.” Legolas said sadly.
Elladan and Elrohir were silent. Aragorn nodded and said “She will
never forgive us for this. I never meant to hurt her. And Arwen is
never going to let any of us off the hook either.”
“Look, I do not care what Arwen says, I am going to look for her.” Legolas said, leaving quickly.
Aragorn looked at the twins and they were all silent when Lord Elrond walked in.
Noticing their faces, he asked, “What has happened?”
Knowing that telling Lord Elrond about the bet would only make things
worse with Vanelossë, they didn’t say anything. She would die of
humiliation if she found out that Elrond knew.
“I don’t think Legolas, Arwen, or Vanelossë will be joining us tonight. Why don’t we go ahead and eat?” Elladan suggested.
During the meal the men were all strangely quiet and Elrond was
concerned. Eventually, he excused himself to his study hoping the three
men could work out their issues.
Arwen walked back into the dining room quickly and said, “I cannot find
her anywhere. I saw Legolas but he cannot find her either. Between the
two of us, I think we looked all over Imladris.”
Legolas walked in beside her and they could tell he was very upset right now.
“She is no where to be found. We have been looking for two hours now.”
“We will all go look for her then. It is dark now and it will be harder
to find her. I assume you have checked her house.” Elladan said rising
out of the chair.
“I think I know where she might be.” Aragorn said softly, knowing what trouble was going to come from this.
Walking out of the room, the others followed him. As he started towards
the waterfall and the pool, Legolas told him that they had already
looked there.
“Trust me. You didn’t look here.”
When he got to the pool, he walked over into the trees and pulled her dress off the ground, showing it to them.
“Then where is she?” Arwen exclaimed concerned.
“Legolas, come with me” Aragorn started stripping down to his pants, as did Legolas.
As he walked into the water, Aragorn realized how cold it was without
the sun heating it up. In the moonlight, he could barely make out the
rocks. When he came to the large one, he pulled himself up. Legolas
followed him asking no questions. Carefully Aragorn continued along the
waterfall on the rocks trying not to fall. When he finally came to the
rock he needed, he walked through the waterfall into the other side.
She was lying curled up asleep in the cave. Legolas had followed him in
there. Nodding to him, Aragorn left and let Legolas handle this. He
knew he was going to have to handle enough with his own love. Two
women’s wrath was a little more than he could stand. He would try to
repair his relationship with Vanelossë after he dealt with Arwen.
Legolas walked to her slowly and he could see she was shivering even in
her sleep. Not having anything dry to wrap her up in, he woke her
hoping she would allow him to hold her to get warm. He doubted it but
he didn’t know what else to do. He was prepared for her anger but he
was not prepared for her complete silence to him.
“Vanelossë, I know you are angry but please understand it was not as
bad as you think.” Legolas said “I mean it was a foolish bet but I did
not even know you when I made the bet and as soon as I got to know you,
I told Aragorn I could not continue with the bet. The others said you
were irresistible and they bet me that could not resist you if you
truly wanted me, which they felt sure you did. If I made love with you,
Aragorn won the bow. If I did not, I won the satisfaction of proving
Aragorn wrong.”
“So it appears that Aragorn has lost.” She whispered. “I hope the satisfaction of proving him wrong was worth it for you.”
Before he could say anything, she got up and walked past him into the
waterfall. By the time he caught up with her, she was sliding into the
water and swimming back to the banks. The others had left and when she
pulled herself out of the water, she went straight to her clothes. When
he got out of the water, she was shivering so much, she ripped her
clothes off not even caring that he was there and put on her dress.
Every time he started to say something to her, he did not have the
right words to say them. When she stormed off, he quickly put on his
shirt and ran after her.
“Vanelossë, please wait.”
“Why? Now that you won the bet, you want to jump into my bed. That way
you get to have me and keep the bow as well. And since I am such a
whore, you assume that I will allow it. Fine!”
Turning around she grabbed him in a forceful kiss and started trying to
rip open his pants. He was so shocked; he did not do anything for a
minute. Finally he grabbed both of her hands and pulled away from her.
Before he could say anything, she smiled.
“Oh, I see. You were able to resist me because you were not truly
interested in the first place. That’s too bad.You do not know what you
are missing but maybe your friend Aragorn can tell you all of the
details.”
