Story Summary:

When Legolas meets Aragorn's most unique and desirable former lover, can he tame her wild heart or will he destroy her spirit by a simple miscalculation of judgement?

Detailed sex but not too much smut. Sweet smut?

Tolkien purists: Forewarning - Deviated so far from the books it isn't funny! And LACE? Never heard of it before I wrote this story. Obviously, neither had Vanelossë or Legolas!

This story was written a long time ago and posted before I discovered betas so please forgive the mistakes. I have too many WIPs now to rewrite it.

Warning explicit sex - Rated NC17

Chapter One

We Meet Again

Aragorn and Legolas, desperate to cool off, walked back to the pool with the waterfall. When they got there, Legolas looked around the serene area with its glistening water and trees in full bloom and said, “I didn’t even know this was back here.”

“Yes, I know. Most don’t. The elves of the city seem to have forgotten it or aren’t interested in it anymore because it is so close to the borders. But it is cool and it will feel so good.” Aragorn said stripped off his gear and shirt. Taking off his boots, he waded into the crystal water and smiled. “Ahhh…I was right. It feels good.”

Laughing, Legolas finished peeling off his shirt and boots as well and waded into the water. “Yes this does feel good. It's cool and refreshing”

Swimming over to the actual waterfall, he stood on the rocks underneath it for along time just enjoying the cool water beating down on his tired muscles. Unknown to him, he was being watched by green cat-like eyes. After soaking his hair and face, Aragorn had sat down in the shallow water and started washing the grime off himself equally unaware of being watched. Legolas walked out of the falls and swam to the shallow water and sat beside him. When he stood up, Aragorn heard a voice behind him.

“Estel, I would have thought better of your ranger skills. It is good thing that I mean you no harm.”

Smiling, he didn’t even turn around, recognizing the purr of her voice. “Vanelossë, I thought you had left Imladris never to return.”

“After I heard you had fallen for Lady Arwen, what else was I to do? Stay here and pine away for you? As you know, I went to Lothorien for a while. But, after a few years, even Lothorien gets tiring.” Vanelossë said, coming out of the trees.

She had been observing the two men since they got there. One she knew very intimately and hadn’t seen in a long time. The other one she had only heard of from the other ellith. She had not expected either of them; in fact, she thought that Estel had left Imladris for good. And not only was he back but he had brought the elusive Legolas of Mirkwood with him. Both of them looked pretty enticing half naked and soaking wet. Estel had filled out quite nicely since the much younger man she had once knew. And she had no complaints about Legolas. They were as opposite as two men can be. Where Estel was rugged and dark, Legolas was sensual and light. After a few minutes, she had to speak before they noticed her eventually.

As she walked further into view, Aragorn turned to look at her. She was still extremely erotic with her exotic beauty. She didn’t walk: she glided with a cat-like grace. As always, she was wearing the least amount of clothes she could get away with without being indecent. Her long raven hair was blowing in the wind and her full lips were spread in a seductive smile. She stopped at the edge of the water. Legolas stood up beside Aragorn and observed the beauty quietly.

“Somehow, Vanelossë, I don’t see you pining away for any man.” He smiled.

She pouted. “Estel, I am crushed that you would doubt my devotion. I love Arwen but I am jealous as well. She is a very lucky woman.”

He shook his head and smiled back at her. “Vanelossë, you are not about devotion. You are about living in the moment.”

“Speaking of living in the moment, are you not going to introduce your friend to me or do you want me to pretend we do not know each other.” Vanelossë smiled as she looked over at Legolas. “Although, I know who he is and I need no introduction.”

The elleth intrigued Legolas. She and Aragorn seemed to have a sense of comfort with her like they were old friends. He had been watching both of them talk and he found himself admiring her. When her attention turned to him, he was pleased, in spite of himself. Her eyes looked him fully over as if caressing him with her mind.

“Legolas, this is Vanelossë. Vanelossë, this is Legolas.” Aragorn smiled at the two of them staring at each other with a sense of challenge.

Never one to be demur, Vanelossë pulled up her dress enough to show bare leg and waded out into the water. As she walked up to Legolas, she smiled.

“Am I supposed to bow before the Prince or would a simple kiss on the cheek do?”

Surprised by her comment and her brazen behavior, Legolas said. “Most do not bow before me.”

As she walked up to him, she looked at him through lowered lashes and standing on her tiptoes reached up and gave him a soft lingering kiss on the cheek.

“Saesa omentien lle” (Pleasure meeting you) She said in a sultry voice.

As she walked away in the water, he found that he could not take his eyes off her. She walked over to Aragorn and they embraced.

“Nae saian luume'.” (It has been too long) She laughed.

He saw the way her arms lingered in Aragorn’s as if they had at one time been more than just friends. He was surprised because as long as he had known him, Aragorn had been in love with Arwen and never even looked at an another, not matter how delightful they were. Of course, he had never seen anything like this elleth. She had none of the demure quiet of most of the Imladris elves. And there were no ellith like her in Mirkwood. He somehow felt she would even be rare in the world of men.

“This, Legolas, is the very definition of trouble.” Aragorn smiled at him over her shoulder.

“Estel!” She screamed and then pushed Aragorn into the water.

Standing over him, she laughed. “Oh no! I didn’t mean to push you that hard.”

As Aragorn reached for her, she screamed and ran behind Legolas.

“Legolas, it would be safer for both you and Estel, if you tossed her into the waterfall and be done with it.”

Legolas turned to see Elladan and Elrohir walking down towards them.

Elladan smiled at Vanelossë. “Always one to stir up trouble, aren’t you, fair Vanelossë?”

“I was only trying to defend myself against Estel. It seems that he has lost all of the manners your father taught him and turned into a boorish man.” Vanelossë retorted.

Elrohir laughed “And you are one to preach about manners, Vanelossë? My father gave up a long time ago trying to instill any in you.”

“Do not listen to what they say Legolas. They are just jealous of my freedom from obligations.” She said, walking from behind him and winking at him.

He watched as she sauntered past Aragorn and back up to the side of the water.

“Here I was minding my own business about to have a little swim only to have it interrupted by not one but two men shortly followed by you two. I guess I will just have to endure the heat as always.”

Elladan came up to her and said “Vanelossë, we would never try to take you away from your swim. Feel free to swim to your heart’s content. We will leave you to your own devices while us men talk over here.”

“You mean you want to watch, don’t you, Elladan? I think not. Haven’t we been through this already?”

“Many times but I keep hoping the outcome will change.” He smiled.

“Elrohir, maybe you should teach your brother some manners as well.” Walking into the trees, she sat down on a large rock and smiled. “Don’t let me interrupt anything. I can wait my turn.”

“Elrohir, Elladan, I see some things never change around here.” Aragorn laughed.

“And Vanelossë would be one of them.” Elrohir said with a sigh.

Both of the twins ripped off their shirts and with a backward look and a smile to her and walked into the water.
